Collection pages that actually convert
Merchandising, copy, filters and mobile UX for Shopify collections — written as CRO, not as a visual redesign brief.

Collection pages do two jobs: help a shopper find a product, and tell Google what the set is about. Most Shopify collections do neither. They are a grid with a theme default description.
Start with the query
If paid traffic lands on a collection, the first screen should match the ad. If organic traffic lands there, the first paragraph should say what is in the set. That is not “keyword stuffing.” That is not making people guess.
Filters are a conversion feature and an SEO risk
Useful filters reduce bounce. Uncontrolled filter URLs explode the index. Decide which combinations deserve a dedicated collection (and unique copy) versus a noindexed facet.
Mobile merchandising
If the filter drawer hides stock status and the product cards hide price, you are asking phones to work for the privilege of buying. Thumb reach, density and image crop are CRO, not decoration.
When to test
A/B tests need traffic. Many stores need a clearer template first. That is the stance on our store optimization page. If the theme cannot express the merchandising you need, that is a development conversation.
